| It's been a long time since I last updated. Luckily, life has improved significantly since my last post. I didn't do well either semester of my sophomore year of college, so I applied to transfer to a few local schools (CUNY Queens, Hunter, Baruch, and QCC [super backup]; SUNY Stony Brook). I became depressed after about a month and a half both in the fall of 2009 and 2010, so it clearly wasn't a good place for me to attend school. I'm back home this semester and am working as a teacher/tutor in Elmhurst, which is busy, but not in a bad way, since the time goes by quickly. I'm working on getting back down to my normal weight of ~130 pounds since I gained a lot of it when I was depressed. I'm currently 10 pounds from my goal weight after two months of watching what I eat and doing light exercise, so I should be 130 pounds by Thanksgiving. Admittedly, I haven't been trying that hard to lose weight since I haven't always tried to keep my daily caloric intake to under 1300 calories, but I recently started halving my lunch portions and eating smaller dinners, so I should drop weight a little faster now. This past weekend, I went to New Jersey for the free KBS concert that was held to celebrate an anniversary of South Korea joining the United Nations. As expected, it was disorganized and distressful to get tickets for and attend, but after all the chaos was over, it was an enjoyable event. Some of the trot artists performed more than they should have to stall for time while 2PM's flight was delayed going from Taiwan to Japan to the US, but they were able to make it. I liked all the idol groups who performed (4minute, Sistar, G.NA, BEAST, SHINee, 2PM, and DBSK) and Insooni, Maya, and Kim Taewoo as well. I was disappointed by a lack of post-concert fun back at the hotel I stayed at with Darrick, Alex, Tommy, Angelo, Nick, Winnie, Cypress, and Rin (Angelo and Nick were in their own room) since the night before had been more enjoyable, but oh well. I'll hopefully be seeing Darrick, Tommy, and a few others at SM Town NYC, which I wasn't going to attend because I didn't have money to buy a ticket when they first went on sale, but I'm getting one somehow before the 23rd. If that doesn't happen, I am still determined to get my Keep Your Head Down photobook signed by DBSK, damn it! I saw Yunho smoking by himself at JFK on Friday morning, but his manager wouldn't let him sign it even though I was the only fan who knew he was there and it wouldn't have caused a mass of DBSK fangirls to rush over and demand pictures and autographs. I didn't take pictures of Yunho smoking because that would have been an invasion of privacy, and his manager asked me not to photograph him smoking. Changmin is a jerk who never waves to people from the van/bus, but Yunho always does. :( I recently used my Pentax SF10 film SLR for the first time, but I need to finish shooting the rest of the roll of film before I develop it. I think that's pretty much it for updates. Until next time. |
